Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ForgeAlpha ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us"), operated by SWR Technologies. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

ForgeAlpha is an algorithmic trading platform that allows users to:

  • Upload trade history from MetaTrader 5 (MT5) brokers
  • Reverse-engineer trading strategies using AI analysis
  • Backtest strategies against historical market data
  • Deploy automated trading bots connected to MT5 accounts via MetaApi
  • Manage capital allocation across multiple trading bots

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be at least 18 years of age to use the Service

3. Trading Disclaimer

ForgeAlpha does not provide financial advice. All trading strategies, AI suggestions, backtest results, and bot configurations are tools for your own decision-making. You acknowledge that:

  • Trading in financial markets carries significant risk of loss
  • Past performance (including backtest results) does not guarantee future results
  • Automated trading bots may experience technical issues, connection drops, or execution delays
  • You are solely responsible for all trading decisions and their financial outcomes
  • AI-generated strategy suggestions are not financial recommendations

4. Broker Relationship

ForgeAlpha connects to your MT5 trading accounts through MetaApi Cloud SDK. We do not:

  • Act as a broker or financial intermediary
  • Store your MT5 broker passwords (provisioned via MetaApi only)
  • Hold or manage your trading funds
  • Guarantee execution quality or broker reliability

Your relationship with your broker is separate from your relationship with ForgeAlpha. We are not responsible for broker-related issues including but not limited to slippage, requotes, platform downtime, or fund disputes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to manipulate markets or engage in fraudulent trading activity
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without authorization

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by SWR Technologies and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your trade history data and custom strategy configurations.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any trading losses resulting from Service unavailability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeAlpha and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Trading losses resulting from strategy execution
  • Bot malfunctions or unexpected behavior
  • Connection interruptions with brokers or data providers
  • Errors in backtest simulations or AI suggestions
  • Loss of data or unauthorized access to your account

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your active trading bots will be stopped and your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
