The Banker
The Banker is ForgeAlpha's automatic capital protection system. It manages your trading capital in real time — skimming profits when you're winning and rescuing bots when they're losing.
How It Works
Profit Skimming
When a bot's equity exceeds your configured skim threshold, the excess is automatically extracted and transferred to your secure wallet. The bot continues trading with the correct capital — profits are safe from future drawdowns.
Capital Rescue
When a bot's equity drops below your rescue threshold, additional capital is automatically injected from your wallet. This prevents margin calls and gives the strategy time to recover.
Automatic Execution
Capital adjustments are applied continuously, with fund transfers executed automatically via the built-in vault system. Every transaction is logged for full audit trail.
Configuration
Each bot can have its own Banker settings:
- Skim threshold — percentage above assigned capital that triggers profit extraction
- Skim amount — how much to extract when threshold is hit
- Rescue threshold — percentage below assigned capital that triggers rescue
- Rescue amount — how much capital to inject when threshold is hit
Safety Guarantees
- Rescue capital comes from your wallet — if the wallet is empty, rescue cannot execute
- Skimmed profits go directly to your wallet — safe from bot trading activity
- All transactions are logged with timestamps, amounts, and before/after balances
